The world’s first interactive paper computer is set to revolutionize the world of interactive computing.

“This is the future. Everything is going to look and feel like this within five years,” says creator Roel Vertegaal, the director of Queen’s University Human Media Lab,. “This computer looks, feels and operates like a small sheet of interactive paper. You interact with it by bending it into a cell phone, flipping the corner to turn pages, or writing on it with a pen.”

What is the light located on the back of taxicabs called and what is it used for?
This light is called a trouble light and is located on the back of the Taxi, just to the left of the trunk lock.  It is used to send out a silent distress call in the event of a crime.  A driver who is being robbed can press a button in the cab, which causes the light to flash and alerts passing police cars.
Now You Know!

A British nonprofit has a novel idea for getting kids interested in computer programming—a computer that fits in a pocket and costs less than the latest video game.

It’s called Raspberry Pi, and the prototype isn’t pretty—it looks like a leftover scrap from electronics recycling day. But it’s a working computer that game developer David Braben and his Cambridge-connected colleagues expect to make available for only $25 for a fully configured system.

ASU Undie run just started, Run Baby Run!!!

“ASU’s biggest end of the year tradition,” “The craziest night of my life,” and “Simply amazing” are just some of the words used to describe the ASU Undie Run, which has become ASU’s (and the country’s) largest, and most charitable, end of the year tradition the campus has come to know. Every year, thousands (and now tens of thousands) of college students from around the state get together to celebrate the last day of classes by taking off their clothes, donating them to charity and then running half-naked around the ASU Tempe campus. Nobody will know why this gigantic phenomenon happens, but when it does, people will talk about it all year long.

there needs to be one of these installed in every bathroom. I once used a toilet that flushed with a petal… it was awesome.
